Albert Moussa

Albert Moussa, PhD, PE, is the founder and CEO of BlazeTech Corp. a contract R&D and engineering services firm. Over the years, he has developed innovations in energy, environment, and safety in several industries, two dozen of which were funded by the Small Business Innovation Research program. Previously he was a senior consultant at Arthur D Little, Inc., and a graduate of Stanford U. and MIT. He is also a member of Launchpad Venture Group.

Albert started his career as an engineer then evolved as an inventor, entrepreneur, manager of R&D, CEO, and Angel investor. 

As an Angel investor, Albert has helped numerous entrepreneurs both technically and financially to get them started, including getting non-dilutive government funding. Many of these companies are in the Launchpad Venture Group portfolio.

He received his B.S. from Stanford University and his MS/PhD from MIT. He has published widely including one book and a conference proceedings, and teaches annual professional courses that encapsulate his work over the years. These courses have been attended by industry, government, and academia from many countries. He has served on several boards including the Editorial Board of the Energy Resources Journal, two national DOD committees, and proposal evaluation committees at NSF, DOE, and AID. His awards include William Littlewood Memorial Lecture by SAE/AIAA, Engineer of the Year by AIAA NE Section, best papers by SAE and ASEI, and AIAA Distinguished Lecturer.
