Dr. Joanna M. Sadowska is a life sciences professional with over 12 years of experience in scientific communication, project management, and medical writing. Joanna has served as a medical writer and independent consultant in the pharma and biotech market research sectors, focusing on cell and gene therapies and rare diseases. She has supported communications portfolios for companies such as Be Biopharma, Danaher Life Sciences, New Balance, and Marvel Biosciences, and she has worked as an external expert for the European Research Agency.

For her technological contributions, she received the New Investigator Recognition Award from the Orthopaedic Research Society and was shortlisted for the L’Oréal-UNESCO UK and Ireland For Women in Science Rising Talent Award. She holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain) and an executive MBA from Hult International Business School (United Kingdom).
