Priscilla H. Douglas
Priscilla H. Douglas, EdD, BOD Member, is well known by top executives as a skilled adviser and coach. Priscilla coaches’ individuals en route to the C-suite and executives in the C-suite to be more skillful at working collaboratively and strategically. She helps advance leadership skills for major clients in financial services, biotech, government, higher education, architecture and defense. And, her book “Getting There & Staying There” is actionable and extends her wisdom to a broad audience.
Priscilla’s ability to help others unlock higher leadership value can be attributed, quite simply, to the fact that Priscilla is a leader herself. Earning her doctorate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in four years and being elected class marshal Her professional career includes key executive positions in government, academics and business where she was often the first woman and the first African American.
Priscilla has worked with over one thousand individuals and teams in healthcare, financial services, technology, manufacturing and government. She brings over thirty years of real-world experience and thought leadership from the public and private sectors to client engagements. She knows how to walk the talk and readily shares her insights in a practical way to help her clients.
A much sought-after emcee and public speaker, Douglas has keynoted conferences around the globe and has presented at the prestigious Aspen Institute, Club of Rome and in forums in Singapore, Australia, South Africa, Japan, and beyond. Douglas currently serves on the Board of Directors for Leader Bank, the Boston Public Library, International Women’s Forum, American Repertory Theater and the Boston Museum of Science, and she has been elected by her peers to serve on the White House Fellows Alumni Association.
Priscilla is a cyclist, scuba diver and skier. She loves NYC: Broadway, the MET, the Vessel and MOMA and is always open to the next adventure.
