Cécile Le Camus

After 8 years in clinical practice, primarily as an ER clinician but also practicing in sports medicine and mountain rescue, Cecile joined Industry 20+ years ago.

Cecile has held roles with Sanofi and Roche in France before joining Vertex Pharmaceuticals as one of 3 EU MSLs in 2003. From there on, in roles of growing responsibilities, Cecile has established and strengthened relationships with external experts to expand needed research, advisory and other collaborative opportunities, serving as a key resource & scientific expert on Vertex products, for Health Care Professionals and Access teams in support of reimbursement filings and negotiations in numerous countries.

Cecile joined the Vertex Boston Headquarters in 2015 as Global Medical Lead for Cystic Fibrosis, and in 2017 took on the head the US Medical Affairs, where she has with her team supported a number of successful launches, striving to generate and communicate insights, evidence, and education that enable healthcare providers, payers, and policymakers to make informed decisions for better patient outcomes.
