Sam MURPHY Managing Partner, BioPharma Capital, Inc.; Sam is a managing partner at BioPharma Capital, Inc., a newly formed transaction advisory firm supporting licensing, M&A, and private placements for early-stage life science companies.  Sam previously co-founded IMS Health Capital, the investment banking arm of IMS Health, performing similar services.  Sam has also worked in BD and commercial strategy consulting for nine years at several boutique, life-science focused strategy consulting firms – Simon-Kucher & Partners, PriceSpective/ICON, and IMS Health Consulting Group, with an emphasis on pricing & market access strategy. Prior to those roles, Sam worked in biomedical research for thirteen years, focusing on gene therapy and translational medicine during his PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
