Sonalee is a tissue engineer and cell biologist by training, who started her career in biotech as a scientist developing human 3D in vitro models to advance drug discovery and development, focused on brain tissue and neurological disease models. Thereafter, she joined the business development team at Harvard’s Office of Technology Development, where she worked on industry collaborations, licensing deals, and supporting venture formation to spin out technologies from the university.

Sonalee has recently joined Servier’s External Innovation team in Boston, focused on supporting and growing Servier’s presence in the North American ecosystem by building and strengthening relationships with key players across biotech and academia. Additionally, she will be working on identifying partnership and licensing opportunities for Servier in the fields of neurology and rare diseases across North America.
