The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) is an economic development agency focused on the expansion and sustainment of life sciences activities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The primary goals of the Center are to support economic and scientific growth in Massachusetts and that is done through a number of different funding programs. These programs propel companies and academic research to support the ongoing growth that has made Massachusetts the global leader in life sciences. The MLSC’s programs focus on accelerating workforce development to ensure that industry continues to have the most educated workforce in the nation, investing in infrastructure to support industry and innovation through financial and hiring incentives for companies with a presence in Massachusetts, and supporting cutting-edge life sciences research and development, manufacturing and commercialization in the Commonwealth. The Center creates new models for collaboration and partner with organizations, both public and private, around the world to promote innovation in the life sciences. The Center also serves as a centralized point of contact for life sciences companies and other organizations interested in doing business in Massachusetts and would be happy to speak with any interested parties.
