William Leaf-Herrmann, PhD

William has more than 30 years of experience assisting companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and MedTech industries, ranging from global corporations to pre-commercial enterprises.

William offers deep expertise in guiding investment decision-making in the face of uncertainty. He brings a track record of success in helping executive teams develop innovative, actionable strategies at the corporate, franchise, and product level. William’s therapy area experience includes oncology, immunology/inflammation, neurological disorders, rare, and infectious diseases.

Prior to joining LSC, William served in leadership roles with Strategic Decisions Group, where he led their North American life sciences practice, and IQVIA’s Corporate & Portfolio Strategy consulting team.

William holds a PhD in physics from Harvard University and a bachelor of science in physics and mathematics from Purdue University. He was a Churchill Scholar at the University of Cambridge and is a Fellow in the Society of Decision Professionals (SDP). He currently serves as the president of the SDP Boston Chapter.
